Content & Data You Intentionally Provide

Local Editing Data: When you import photos from your device library or camera, edit collages, add molten glow stickers, sparks, lava-style decorations, or use templates without saving to your Ember Gallery, all related content stays stored locally on your device. We never access, collect, or store these local files unless you explicitly choose to upload them to our cloud service.
Ember Gallery Account Data: If you choose to create an account to use our cloud storage feature, we will collect the account credentials you provide (such as your chosen username and optional contact email address), as well as any collages, collections, and project drafts you intentionally upload and save to the Ember Gallery.
Optional Submissions: If you choose to share your work for community inspiration features, submit feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, we will collect the content you choose to send to us for those purposes.

Automatically Collected Anonymous Data

We collect non-identifiable usage data to improve our Service for all creators, including:

App performance metrics, crash logs, and load time data to fix technical issues and deliver a smoother editing experience
Anonymous feature usage patterns (such as which templates, stickers, or editing tools are most popular) to curate better daily inspiration recommendations and optimize feature design
General device information (such as operating system version and screen size) to ensure our Service works well across different devices

This anonymous data is not linked to your personal identity or Ember Gallery account, and cannot be used to identify you individually.

Deliver and maintain our Service: Sync your Ember Gallery content across your devices, let you organize collections, edit saved drafts, export your creations, and access templates and daily inspiration content.
Improve and personalize your experience: Curate relevant daily inspiration and template recommendations based on your usage preferences (you can opt out of personalized recommendations in your account settings at any time).
Communicate with you: Send important service updates, security alerts, or account-related notifications only if you have provided a contact email. We will never send unsolicited marketing messages, and you can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

We put you in full control of your data:

You can access, edit, or delete all of your account information and saved Ember Gallery content at any time through your account settings.
You can request a full export of all data associated with your account, including all your saved creations, at no cost.
You can permanently delete your Ember Gallery account at any time. When you delete your account, all associated data (including your account details and all saved creative content) will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days, with no residual backups kept unless required by law.
You can manage device permissions (such as camera access, photo library access) through your device settings at any time. Disabling these permissions will only limit your ability to import new photos for editing, and will not affect your use of other features of the Service.

🔥 Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data during transmission and storage. All Ember Gallery content is encrypted at rest and in transit, and access to user data is strictly limited to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job duties.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security. We recommend that you use a strong, unique password for your Ember Gallery account and do not share your account credentials with others.

🔥 Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will immediately delete that information from our systems.
